15 Mar NIGERIA INVESTOR DAY 2023
The Association of Asset Custodians of Nigeria (AACN) is the umbrella body for Nigerian custodian banks. The association aims to foster transparency and promote investments in the Nigerian Capital Market and has done a commendable job in enabling the Nigerian capital market to be more suitable for investors and facilitating the growth of global best practices in our market.
As part of the Association’s efforts to promote investment in the Nigerian Capital Market, AACN hosts an Annual Investor Conference that focuses on topical macroeconomic, regulatory, and sociopolitical issues affecting the Nigerian Capital Market, with various CMOs, local and foreign investors, regulators, and FMIs in attendance. This year’s conference will be held at the London Marriott Canary Wharf Hotel on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, with the theme “Nigeria’s Economy: Emerging Opportunities in a New Structure.”
The past eleven editions of the conference, held between 2012 and 2022, were very successful with lots of positive feedback from the attendees. The audience averaged about 100 institutional investors, issuers, regulators, custodians, broker-dealers, fund/asset managers, and registrars mainly from Europe and the UK. The forthcoming event is expected to be even more successful, judging by the enthusiastic feedback received from the individuals that have been invited.
We sincerely anticipate that this will be a mutually rewarding event.
