Haruna JALO-WAZIRI

Mr. Haruna Jalo-Waziri is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer at Central Securities Clearing System Plc. He served as the Executive Director of Capital Markets at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He was appointed the MD/CEO of UBA Asset Management Limited in 2007, thereafter he became the MD/CEO of UBA Stockbrokers Limited. He founded Kakawa Asset Management Limited. Prior to this, he had worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Afrinvest West Africa (formerly … SECTRUST).

Jalo-Waziri has over 25 years of experience in capital market and a record of professional and leadership excellence. His experience covers regulation, investment management, deal origination and trading. He is an economist and a consummate professional. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and the Venture Capital Institute of America. He is a graduate of the University of Maiduguri where he studied Economics and has an MBA from Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
